Simple Pleasure

Our grandchildren who live nearby are at our house frequently for visits or sleep-overs. On a recent visit, our oldest granddaughter and I were taking a walk together, enjoying the lovely day, when she came up with the idea of having a picnic lunch. We promptly returned to the house to put a few simple items into the basket. There is a nice little mini park near the house, so that is where we headed. We had such a good time eating in the sunshine and watching the cloud shapes transform in the breeze.

Sometimes it takes a fresh young mind to think of the simple pleasures that surround us. I hope we'll have many picnics in the future. These kind of moments are what memories are made of.
