Ike the plague. But I've started a mini junk journal after taking the Got Glue? Class at Creative Passion, and I just felt like getting stencils and ink and other supplies. So I ventured forth to a local scrapbook store, then Ben Franklin, then a local stamping store. I didn't buy a thing at the scrapbook store, and the rest of the haul was a split between BF & the stamping store.
Here's my goodies:
I got quite a few things that weren't on my list but just inspired me. I also ended up having to order the stencils I wanted from Scrapbook.com. So I spent way more money than I intended, but that's OK. Part of the purpose here is to spend some good crafty time with my 10yo granddaughter who loves art. I bought her a little book to create in so we can do it side by side.
So odd for me to be buying physical supplies again. I only bought digital for quite awhile. But then this isn't for scrapping, or most likely won't be used for scrapping. It's just to play with in my junk journal. Hmm - I think I'll add the receipts to the journal. Hopefully I'll have time to play tomorrow.
And here is why I so seldom shop: that little bit ruined the rest of my day. I came home, needed several naps, and got a nasty headache. Pathetic! But I'm still happy with my purchases.
