I meant to post this earlier and forgot. The grandchildren who live nearby come over frequently for a visit or a sleep-over. On a recent visit, my sweet oldest granddaughter wanted to take a walk, which is something we like to enjoy together. She had the lovely idea of having a picnic lunch.
We went back to the house and gathered up a few easy lunch items to put into the basket and took a short walk to a nearby mini park. It was such a lovely day and such a sweet idea. We both thoroughly enjoyed eating outside and looking for shapes in the clouds.
Sometimes it takes a fresh young mind to think of the simple opportunities for pleasures that we would otherwise miss.
